Loan Repayment Assistance Programs

Currently, the Kennedy School of Government and the Law School offer these programs.

Kennedy School of Government

The purpose of the Kennedy School of Government's Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) is to assist graduates engaged in public service in paying their monthly student loan payments.

Law School

Harvard Law School’s Low Income Protection Plan helps relieve the burden of education loan repayment for J.D. graduates in full-time government, non-profit or academic jobs, or full-time law-related jobs in the private sector. LIPP participants pay a limited portion of their annual income toward their annual loan repayment obligations, and LIPP covers the remainder of their eligible loan payments. For more information on LIPP, visit the HLS LIPP website.
