###    Will I be charged a late fee or denied access to classes or other services if payment of my VA Benefit is delayed?  expand\_more  

 Harvard University fully complies with Section 103.1.(b) of the Veterans Benefits and Transition Act of 2018. For students who are covered under Chapter 31, VR&amp;E, and Chapter 33, Harvard University will not impose any penalty on any covered individual because of the individual’s inability to meet his or her financial obligations to the institution due to the delayed disbursement of funding from the VA under Chapter 31 or Chapter 33. Covered students will not be prevented from attending or enrolling in courses, will not be charged late fees, and will not be otherwise denied access to University services due to late payment from the VA until 90 days after the University has certified tuition and fees to the VA following the receipt of a Certificate of Eligibility or Statement of Benefits. The Certificate of Eligibility or Statement of Benefits should be provided to the Financial Aid Office of the covered individual's school prior to the start of classes, along with the Notice of Student Enrollment, to ensure that benefits are processed in a timely manner.

###    How do I view my 1098-T online?  expand\_more  

 To access your 1098-T (2015-present) electronically, you must log in with your Harvard credentials at [my.harvard.edu](http://portal.my.harvard.edu/). After logging in, navigate to the 'Student Accounts' tab in the left-menu and then select the link under 'Paperless 1098-T'. A walkthrough is available [here](/how-to#1098-T).

 Please note that you must disable your pop-up blocker to view your form. If you do not opt-in to view your form electronically, a paper copy will be mailed to your permanent address.

 



 

 

 



###    When will I be billed for tuition?  expand\_more  

 Tuition for the Fall semester is billed in mid-July for most schools. For the Spring semester, most schools bill tuition in mid-December. For exact bill dates, please see [Manage your account or Make a payment](/pay-bill)

 



 

 

 



###    I changed my address with the University, why doesn't the Loan Office have it?  expand\_more  

 Changing your address with one department (e.g. Alumni Records or Student Accounts), does not change it across the University. You must also change your address with our office by going to our [borrower website](https://borrower.ecsi.net/) or emailing us at [student\_loans@harvard.edu](mailto:student_loans@harvard.edu).

 



 

 

 



###    Can my student loan account be discussed with a third party?  expand\_more  

 With written permission from you our office may discuss account information with a designated third party. You may login to our [borrower website](https://heartland.ecsi.net) and under the **Account Tools** section complete the **Information Release form**.

 



 

 

 



###    Can I pay my student loan with a credit or a debit card?  expand\_more

###    What if I can’t make the full monthly loan payment?  expand\_more

###    How can I pay my loans if I live overseas?  expand\_more  

 Your monthly payment can be sent via check to our [office address](/contact), via [wire transfer ](/file_url/177)or via Convera using the [Harvard Student Loan International Payment Portal ](https://exporter.globalpay.convera.com/harvarduniversitystudentloan#!/).

 



 

 

 



###    Where do I send my student loan payment?  expand\_more  

 All U.S. currency payments can be sent to our systems servicer at: Heartland ECSI, PO Box 1287, Moon Township, PA 15108, or to our mailing address: Harvard University, Student Loan Office, 801 Smith Campus Center, 1350 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA 02138.

 



 

 

 



###    Should I continue paying my loans even though I’m consolidating?  expand\_more  

Yes. Until the loan is consolidated, you are responsible for making your monthly loan payments.
