Many third party "debt relief" companies offer fee-based services such as loan counseling, consolidation, and helping borrowers choose the right repayment plan. These companies are not representatives of the Department of Education or Harvard University. Federal loan servicers are available to assist and will never charge a fee. November degree candidates are reminded that the September bill must be paid in full by October 14th.  Students with a financial hold will not receive their diploma and their degree may not be conferred until all indebtedness to Harvard University is paid in full.
